This Access Statement was prepared to assist guests.

South Moor Farm provides Bed and Breakfast Accommodation in a 150 year old farm house .

Entrance has 3 inch high steps in and out of porch.

Bedrooms are on the first floor accessed via a wide staircase. 2 steps to first landing, 12 steps to second landing, 5 steps to top landing. Steps are 10 inch wide with a 7 inch rise.

South Moor Farm is in a remote rural location 12 miles from Pickering.

There are no public transport facilities. Taxis available in Pickering, and Scarborough.

Dalby forest has facilities for wheelchair users, including trails and facilities in the visitor center.

Our accommodation is suitable for able bodied guests and guests with mobility /visual/hearing impairment who are accompanied by an assistant.

Arrival and Car Parking Facilities.

Ample private parking spaces but surface uneven. Three inch step into house.

Vehicles may be parked next to entrance whilst loading or unloading.

Ring door bell if we have not heard you arrive.External door key on ring with room key.

Public Areas – General (Internal).

Entrance Hall and Dining room on ground floor are carpeted.

Bed rooms have en-suite facilities. No toilets on ground floor.

Carpeted Dining room has domestic tables and chairs.

One Twin, One Double, One Family all en suite. Not wheel chair accessible.
