South Moor Farm is located 3.5 miles from Langdale End on Dalby Forest Drive which is signposted from Thornton le Dale and Hackness. Grid Reference SE905905

From Ebberston on the A170 Pickering to Scarborough road, watch for The Grapes pub on right, in the dip of road at crossroad on left , sign Cliff House , holiday cottages. Turn left, before house (sign in black and white) , single track road to Givendale Head farm. Then on to ROUGH limestone forestry road towards Ebberston Common Farm. Bear right at first T junction. Bear left at second T junction. Pass turning for Ebberston Common farm on right, go straight on, when the track meets the tarmac road carry straight on, we are on the right half a mile from joining the tarmac road. NO TOLL CHARGE on this route.

From Hackness follow Dalby Forest Drive signs through Langdale End, past Bickley and Bickley Gate car park. We are 3.5 miles from Langdale End. NO TOLL CHARGE on this route.

From Pickering follow A170(Scarborough) to Thornton le Dale. Turn left after pedestrian crossing just before Buck Inn (Signposted Dalby Forest Drive). 1¼ mile turn right into Dalby Forest. NOTE. FROM 1ST APRIL 2012 THERE IS A £4 (Concessionary rate with this email, normally £7) TOLL CHARGE USING THIS ROUTE. (Ticket valid for length of your stay.) We are 8 miles past toll point, stay on the tarmac road. You will pass the Visitor Centre, Staindale Lake, Adderstone Field, and Jingleby Thorn Farm. We are 1 mile from Jingleby, in open fields on the right hand side, double gates with B and B signs.
